Why take classes from Craft Cats?
It's time to take a break from all the screens and scrolling, connect in the real world, meet some interesting people, and immerse yourself and your hands in the creative process.
You don't have to be an artist to enjoy making art. Our instructors will guide you through learning a new skill, but also support your creative journey.
You'll go home with a finished piece or two that you are proud of, knowledge and lessons learned around the process, and an energy that only engaging with the creative process and creative people can bring!
Meet the Craft Cats!
Sara M. Hospador
Sara's two great loves are to learn a new artistic process, and to teach others what she's learned. Copper enameling leads to glass fusing leads to wire wrapping cabochons. Whether it's needle felting, engraving, water coloring, using alcohol markers - Sara is not only going to figure it out, but she's going to figure out how to break down the steps and make it easy for anyone to do.
Sara has a degree in Fine Arts, but it's often the science aspect of the process that is the most exciting - what happens if I print with THIS ink on THIS paper? Her career outside of teaching art has involved decades of teaching adults, often intimidated, resisting adults, how to use databases and other software.
Sign up for her art classes so that she has an excuse to buy more art supplies!
Jennifer A. Christian
Although Jen has been an acupuncturist for a couple of decades, her curiosity about all things has led to a lifelong learning mentality. She's not just a healer, she is able to do magic with energy! Layer that with how creativity brings you in touch with your inner being, how symbols such as mandalas create meditative practices, and how singing bowls ground you into a deeper reality, and you will leave with your heart cleansed and restored!
